The honest answers
Do you meter my reads or searches?
No. Search and retrieval are unlimited on every plan, including Free — there's no per-query or per-token charge for working with your own knowledge. The only thing we meter is the assistant, since it runs a frontier chat model for you.
What counts as a private project?
Any project that isn't world-readable. Free includes one private project; Pro makes them unlimited. Public projects — readable by anyone, writable only by members — are unlimited on every plan.
What happens when I hit my assistant daily limit?
It degrades gracefully — the assistant drops to a smaller model and tells you, rather than cutting off mid-conversation. Pro raises the cap and upgrades the model; Team pools a budget across members.
Is the CLI / plugin / SDK free?
Yes, forever. The CLI, the MCP plugin, the hooks, the SDK, and the schema are open source. Paid plans add hosted convenience and private capacity on top — never access to the core.
Why is Team worth it over buying Pro seats?
Team-only value: a pooled assistant budget, roles + an audit log, cross-project search, and a dedicated support relationship. If all you need is more private projects, Pro is the right call.
