No. Search and retrieval are unlimited on every plan, including Free. There's no per-query or per-token charge for reading your own knowledge, and there never will be. What Free does cap is how much you add: 500 new knowledge writes a month and 5,000 stored nodes.

Adding something new — a decision, a lesson, a task, a document. Editing, superseding, or archiving what's already there doesn't count, and never will: keeping a record correct is the whole point, and charging for a correction would be charging for the thing that makes the record worth having. Archived nodes also stop counting toward your stored total, so putting old work away frees room without deleting it.

To stop a runaway agent, not to sell you the next plan up. Pro's ceiling sits above the heaviest real use we've ever measured — including our own, and we use this thing all day. If you're a solo developer writing to your record constantly, you will not meet it. We publish the numbers rather than saying "unlimited" because a limit you can't see is worse than one you can.

Your agent is told, and it tells you. Reading, searching, recall, and editing all keep working — only adding something new pauses, and it resumes on the 1st. There's a little headroom past the number so a session in progress never dies mid-thought. Importing an existing codebase doesn't touch the monthly limit either: every account gets a one-time allowance so your first backfill runs start to finish.

Any project that isn't world-readable. Free includes one private project, Indie includes three, and Pro makes them unlimited. Public projects, readable by anyone and writable only by members, are unlimited on every plan.

If a renewal payment fails, your plan stays active for 7 days while we retry the card, and we email you with the date. Update your payment method before then to keep it. After that, the account moves to Free.

Nothing is deleted when an account moves to a smaller plan. If you have more private projects than the new plan includes, your most recently active ones stay writable and the rest become read-only. They stay private and readable, you can choose which one stays writable, and all of them become writable again when you upgrade.

A workspace inside a project that only the people you add can read. Everyone else in the project sees that a private note exists where it links to their work, but never what it says, and search and recall never return it to them. Personal memory is a private workspace with one member, you, so your agent can keep your own goals and feedback next to the project. Both are included in Pro and above. Nothing goes private unless you ask. A regular workspace, which every project member can read, works on every plan.

Three. A free account can be a member of up to three private projects owned by other free accounts at once. Projects owned by a paid account are exempt entirely, and a private project on your own plan never counts toward this either. The limit only applies the next time you accept an invite; it never removes a membership you already have. Any paid plan removes it.

It pauses and tells you rather than cutting you off mid-conversation. Your turns pick back up when the day or month resets, or the moment you upgrade. On Free, turns are also spread across the month, up to 40 a day. Indie raises the cap to 500 turns/mo, Pro to 1,500; Team pools 5,000 across members.

Yes, forever. The CLI, plugin, SDK, and hosted MCP are free on every plan. Paid plans add private capacity, more assistant turns, and team operations, never access to the core agent surfaces. The hosted endpoint connects ChatGPT, Claude, Cursor, or any MCP client to your record with one URL — setup steps here.

Team puts everyone on one bill: you assign each seat by email, every member gets the Team plan on their own account, and an audit log shows every change to the team. You also get a dedicated support relationship. Roles and cross-project search are coming next. If all you need is more private projects, Pro is the right call.
